Stepping into the world of yoges?
First of all, you won't regret it, promise! Secondly we 100% encourage you to try more than 1 class before you make up your mind of whether yoga is right for you. Different people vibe with different teachers, studio set up and styles so it's important to switch it up to really find that 'aha' moment.
So regardless of what state you're in, we've listed some of our fave studios to help get you started.
If you're a LB fan then you know Yoke has her heart. Located in South Melbourne and also Torquay they offer a supportive, welcoming environment, inviting all to dive wholeheartedly into their practice and open up to deep fulfilment. They're remind us that they're not here to seek perfection, to change or fix anything. We are here, rather, to drop the search and soften into the truth of this moment so that we may remember the bliss that we already are.
So we're particularly fond of the Perth studio but don't fear if you're nowhere near the West Coast as Power Living has studios located all around Australia plus an online practice option. Power Living was founded in 2004 by Duncan Peak, in Neutral Bay, Sydney. The studio was the first of its kind, solely teaching Vinyasa yoga – a style developed from its Hatha Vinyasa roots. Want to know more? Check out the website to learn what they're all about.
With two studios already (Brighton and Mordialloc) we particularly love the yogi oasis that is Mordialloc. Expect a welcoming bright space, a chill surfer vibe and oversized day beds so you can relax and connect with the community after class. We provide everything you need, including manduka mats and other nifty props. Facilities include showers, changing rooms and organic products so that you can step back into your day feeling epic.

From their zen Flow Release classes to something a little more intense - like Rapid30 we love that we can do yoga, spin, stregth and reformer all in the one space.
