Rocket + Mint Hummus

Vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free. Eating foods in their raw form is great for those on a cleanse because it means that the food is jam-packed full of nutrients and enzymes which help us to digest food.

Ingredients:

2 cups of cooked chick peas
2 good luggs of extra virgin olive oil
juice of 1 lemon (or lime)
3 cloves of roasted garlic
a good handful of mint leaves (approx 15 leaves)
a good handful of rocket leaves
sea salt
pinch of cumin powder
avocado oil to drizzle (or olive oil)
pinch of sumac to serve (optional)

Method:

This is easy-peasy. Whizz in all ingredients in a blender and serve. Drizzle with avocado oil (or olive oil), a squeeze of lime or lemon juice and sweet paprika for colour! Great to have with celery and carrot, on organic sourdough toast or corn tortilla chips.
