6 spring onions
Sliced tofu (go for firm tofu, as it holds its shape while cooking)
1 tablespoon of seasoned rice flour (simply add salt, pepper and optional chili power to ordinary rice flour)

1 teaspoon of agave (or honey)
1 tablespoon of tamari (or soy sauce)
½ a lemon’s juice
½ a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar


Slice the tofu into 5 x 3cm squares and dust with seasoned rice flour. Heat a non-stick pan with a spray of olive oil. When hot, place the tofu in and colour each side until golden. Clean and slice the spring onions into 5cm lengths.

Remove tofu, throw spring onions in for approx 3 minutes, remove and serve with tofu. Drizzle dressing mix over tofu.

For all your dressings, shake in a reusable jar.

Handy Hint: Tofu is made from soybeans which can often be genetically modified (this means the soybeans are not in their most natural form). So for the healthiest option, go for organically or bio-dynamically produce soy products.
